Fox Business’ “Varney & Co” host Stuart Varney shared a disturbing statistic: Home ownership is at a 20-year low of 65%. That is the amount of homes occupied, are owned by the occupant two out of three instances. That is down from the high of 69% in 2004.

When figured against the housing base, that’s roughly 4.8 million units fewer owner-occupied units.

What factors do you think are causing the drop in ownership?

Lack of access to credit?
Lack of decent listings to purchase?
Fear of another housing crash?
Fear of losing your job?
All of the above?
Something else?
